Our name ‘The Daily Ad’ was inspired by ‘The Daily’, the much raved iPad news publication app. Rather than serving you your daily scoop of world news, sports and entertainment headlines, ‘The Daily Ad’ offers you your daily dose of price information of household products from major hypermarkets such as NTUC, Giant, Cold Storage, Sheng Siong, Shop & Save, Courts, Watsons, Carrefour and many more!
The new concept also provides a new advertising platform for vendors to increase their online presence and showcase their products and competitive prices.
Ultimately, who gains the most from this? The consumers of course!
The Daily Ad is going to benefit regular shoppers (e.g. homemakers), new immigrants who are unfamiliar with local product prices and more specifically, price-conscious shoppers.
The ‘Price History’ feature in The Daily Ad will allow shoppers to compare prices of daily products, such as household products and food and beverages, which date all the way back to early 2011.
